Lorraine can't take Benadryl either. She gets very hyper--found out when she was about 4 years old. Up all night, sick, cranky, but moving quickly. On the opposite end, Benadryl knocks me out so badly that I need help walking to the bathroom so that I won't hurt myself. Poor Buddy.
